Comment 0 for bug 881792

After upgrading to Kubuntu 11.10 from Kubuntu 11.04 on my Asus S96J laptop, the system will not power off when shutdown. It will halt the system but not power it down. I have to hold down the power button for the system to power down. When I initiated a shutdown via K Menu->Leave->Shutdown it should power down the system. Instead, it will halt the system but not power it down automatically.
