Comment 2 for bug 793758

I ran into this problem while testing dynamic disk addition with libvirt and kvm. The guest was running precise, originally installed from the Ubuntu 11.10 alternate CD image.

It looks like the UEC images work around this problem locally (bug 450463) by updating /etc/modules during the image build process, but it seems like this fix belongs upstream, ideally for all currently supported releases.
