Also appears on a Lenovo X220 with Natty AMD64, EFI-Grub and 3.0.0-rc4 kernel from PPA-Mainline.

Appending "reboot=a,w" in /etc/default/grub line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT solved the problem for me.
