Comment 4 for bug 557048

I found the similar bug appeared on my eeepc 900ha.

 uname -a

When the system start, "lspci" will apear:

02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

When toggle Fn + F2 off, it will disable ethernet card. I haven't test if wi-fi connection(I will report later). "lspci" will only apear:

It seems toggle Fn + F2 off is close ethernet and not wireless!

When added "eeepc_laptop" into /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf, the ethernet card works well while the wireless lamp is off. But all the Fn functions also were disabled.

It seems a bug concerning "eeepc_laptop" module in linux kernel.
