Right now it just does not boot.

Maybe video=viafb:off or video=viafb:viafb_accel=0 will solve it.

Persistent memory and blacklisting from another computer solve it persistently.

But for an incoming user more newbie than me, there are no such things.

Can it be done here at LP, running all those automated ubuntu bug filing tools?
