Well, after testing 2.6.32rc5 kernel from mainline kernel ppa, there is no kernel panic anymore, but as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/401126/comments/53, there is a lot of "DMA: Out of SW-IOMMU space" output messages in dmesg after a while....
