have you tried the method written on the forum page i gave to you before? Also be sure that volume control is active and not muted , im telling you this because i have found time ago a frend that was having the same problem of you but the only thing that wasnt ok ,was the volume control. Check out that and try to give a look to the forum page.Also i suggest you to try booting your pc using another kernel maybe an old one ,like the 2.6.12-15 and so on. If you do it, tell me how its gone.
