Looking at the SleepLog.txt we can see that we were waiting on the resume to complete:
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/95anacron resume suspend: success. /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/94cpufreq resume suspend: success. /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/90chvt resume suspend:
We can see that the chvt is still running and has been for a long time.
root 9391 8828 0 10:32 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/90chvt resume suspend root 9401 9391 0 10:32 ? 00:00:00 chvt 8 [...] root 10151 10067 0 10:38 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /etc/rc6.d/K20apport stop
The chvt appears hung. Marking this duplicate of bug #352178.
