Correction:

I tested the Mainline-Kernels for Ubuntu from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/:

v2.6.27.20 works fine
v2.6.27.23 works fine
v2.6.28.1 does not work (first kernel with bug)
