Comment 3 for bug 324920

I've tried todays daily build. Situation is the same. So I've tried to install it with acpi=off parameter. When the installation is over(bar hits 100%) there's blank screen nothing else. Grub is not set up correctly (not at all), so I recovered grub by instructions found on wiki. After booting from installed jaunty unr it ends up either with blank screen or with gdm, but keyboard nor touchpad is responding. I started recovery mode to gather logs. Hope they'll be helpfull.
