This bug seems to be the same as bug 309519 but with different hardware. I will ask you to provide the same information as in that report.
Can you please include in this bug report the following as separate attachments:
uname -a > uname-a.log cat /proc/version_signature > version.log dmesg > dmesg.log sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log sudo dmidecode > dmidecode.log sudo biosdecode > biosdecode.log
Then can you please try booting the system by using
noapic nolapic
as kernel boot parameters. There are directions here on how to change the boot parameters from GRUB - http://grumpymole.blogspot.com/2007/05/ubuntu-how-to-edit-grub-boot-parameters.html Let me know if the error message goes away with those parameters being used.
