I'm trying to boot the release version of 8.10 on an Asus s5n, adding all_generic_ide does not solve the problem. It drops me to BusyBox prompt and spits out:

end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 1431184
Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logic block 178898
