It worked somewhat ok with Ubuntu 8.04 32-Bit (the WLAN router had to be switched on when starting the computer and no later, otherwise Ubuntu did not manage to connect to the WLAN). You did not have to press the computer's WLAN button to make it work.

WLAN does NOT work with Ubuntu 8.10 64-Bit (fully updated). Pressing the WLAN button on the computer has no effect either.

The online product description says the following about the built-in WLAN:

- Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN OR
- Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG.
