Bug Description
It worked somewhat ok with Ubuntu 8.04 32-Bit (the WLAN function had to be switched on with the specific key when starting the computer and no later, otherwise Ubuntu did not manage to connect to the WLAN). You did not have to press the computer's WLAN button to make it work.
WLAN does NOT work with Ubuntu 8.10 64-Bit (fully updated). Pressing the WLAN button on the computer has no effect either.
The online product description says the following about the built-in WLAN:
- Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN OR
- Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG.

The specific key (see above) still does not work with Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha with all updates, whereas the specific Bluetooth key works fine.
