Comment 29 for bug 220006

This problem seems to persist on 10.4, I'm having it on a Sony Vaio VPCS111FM. I tried all those tricks that are posted across various bugs/questions/posts, but nothing helped.

I can provide additional debugging information, but as per #22, it sounds like this bug is stale. Is there an open bug in whichever bug tracker is appropriate for this issue?
