I'm experiencing the same problem with intrepid beta 1 and a turion tl-60 x2.. i need to activate nolapic in order to be able to suspend/resume (if i dont, it just hangs), BUT i loose a cpu. i suspect the resume/suspend failure is a smp issue, since it works fine with one cpu disable via nolapic.
