Hi, I have the exact same problem as described by Bruce in #4.

I have an HP-Pavilion 15-bc313nf
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.1
Gnome v. 3.36.8
kernel (from uname -a): 5.4.0-65-generic #73-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jan 18 17:25:17 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
It's a windows dual boot, with win on the SSD and Ubuntu on the HDD.
Contrary to Bruce I installed Ubuntu 18.04 a while back and upgraded to 20.04 around end of October 2020.

Someone suggested it had a link with that log line:
` kernel: [ 4113.534348] Lockdown: systemd-logind: hibernation is restricted; see man kernel_lockdown.7 `
Specifically from man ` Unencrypted hibernation/suspend to swap are disallowed as the kernel image is saved to a medium that can then be accessed. `
But since I don't have a swap partition it sounds like a dead-end.

Let me know if I can be of any use.
