Ok thank you, I can confirm then that lp1909005 is definitely installed but still not waking from sleep corfectly.
If it is any help...one difference I have noticed between working 5.4.0-26 and later non-working versions (including lp1909005 but previous ones too): with -26 the login (SDDM) screen is displayed, then the screen goes blank for half a second before it is redisplayed, and the same for the desktop - it is displayed, then the screen goes blank, then it is redisplayed.
