1) I tried with all these:

4.10.0-041000_4.10.0
4.11.0-041100_4.11.0
4.12.0-041200_4.12.0
4.17.0-041700_4.17.0
4.18.0-041800_4.18.0
4.19.0-041900_4.19.0

they all work fine

2) I'll give it a try, but I had troubles installing a working ubuntu kernel version to start looking for the version that introduces the bug, see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1816947/comments/43
