It happened last week, when I upgraded pop os! from 17.10 to 18.04 issuing do-release-upgrade
Now I have the following kernel:
$ uname -a Linux pop-os 4.15.0-45-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 29 16:28:13 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
But as I told, I can reproduce the same issue from the current daily image of ubuntu.
