Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Sorry this was not dealt with efficiently, but if this is still a problem, could you test with the Live CD of the development release, Lucid Lynx. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/. If so, please run "apport-collect 173366" without quotes, bearing in mind you may need to install python-launchpad-integration from the Universe repository, and also when asked you will need to select "Change Anything" in Launchpad for apport to be able to collect this debugging information.
