So let's test the following:
1. Check if function key generate anything:
$ show-key -s
2. Check if function key generate anything:
$ acpi_listen
3. Add kernel parameter and test if one of the following works:
acpi_osi=! acpi_osi="Windows 2015"
acpi_osi=! acpi_osi="Windows 2012"
acpi_osi=! acpi_osi="Windows 2009"
