I don't know. I just got this T520 and put 14.04.03 on it. Swapped the SSD with a harddisk containing 16.04 for testing. So I've seen this bug with these kernel versions only:

- 3.13.0-86-generic x86_64 (Ubuntu 14.04.03)
- 4.4.0-21-generic x86_64 (Ubuntu 16.04)
- 4.6.0 (vanilla)
