...but I'm not familiar with the way to proceed.

- Is there any kernel delivery including the patch?
- If not, any workaround/alternative?
- I'm planning to use Mint or Ubuntu. Do you know how do I properly compile the kernel with respect to the environment?

NB: I am able to compile de kernel. Not expert, but skilled enough to have it running.
