Thanks for your confirmation. This bug is actually confirmed so we should not comment here except to provide new relevant informations about the bug.

peterl : It's sometime possible to put log files in USB drives or other external medias, but this is probably not necessary here since the bug is confirmed and triaged. You should not experience any problem if you enable RAID with Gutsy, and if you have some, you can always go back to IDE without side-effects.
