Comment 22 for bug 153702

I can confirm: inspiron 530 formatted and installed kubuntu 7.04, then upgrade to 7.10 then to 8.04 beta and update daily.
Untill I read this page SATA was in EIDE mode and I had many boot failure, after boot everithing work fine.
I changed bios to raid, in few days i'll update comment with result on boot process.
