I still get the same behavior -- after a long pause, I get the "Failed to execute operation" error message and then another suspend:

Lid closed.
Suspending...
Failed to execute operation: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Suspending...
Operation finished.
Lid opened.

bios version is A10 and release date is 08/28/2013.
