If I use your driver or AMDs' driver, which by the way AMD does work better for me so far when it comes to having a functioning key board with out dual monitors but , anyway. If I have your drivers or AMD's drivers instaled if I suspend or restart my laptop I will not have the use of my keyboard when it comes back on. Maybe that will help you narrow down where this problem with the dual monitors maybe coming from. Also the laptop tends to freeze up when restarting with dual monitors at times when I'm attepting to restart to see if my keyboard will come back on.

Another thing that is stange is that I cant log into AMD catalyst control admin a small terminal like window pops open for me to put in my pass word. After I do nothing happens. I did find a comment on your webstie thoguh hwere a guy used this command 'sudo amdcccle' and that's how i'm able to get in there and set up my monitors. But I guess for now I'll have to unplu and plug my second monitor back it when I realy need it instead of having there all the time until you guys get the bugs worked out.

I was extremly excited to finnaly start using Ubuntu. When the live cd tested out ok I went ahead and reformated to do a fresh intall on a clean hard drive to avoid a lot of problems but it has been one big problem just figureing out what I'm dong since it's apparetn that command line is a naceasty to use Ubuntu. I think it would be a great idea to have that refer to in the main page for Ubuntu when your showing of how great it looks and works instead of mentiong it later on in a ton of documenttation that people breeze through.Over promising and under delivering will cost you to loose more than you gain when it comes to atracting new people to a product. I would of still went with Ubuntu but just had put it off a week or two until I became more familiar with this new territry.

As it is right now I want to tell people how great ubuntu is but honestly it's been a nightmare. As long as someone dosen't ask me about it than I want have an opinon to advertise, I'll keep that to myself until I see Ubuntu become more average user friendly. I like the concept and philosphy of Ubuntu I just am very frustrated right now with having lost so much time and still have gained no ground. Maybe in the near future i'll beable to brag about Ubuntu to everyone I know but for know I'll do you guys a favor and keep my mouth shut.

I look forward to you getting this dual monitro bug fixed for me. i'll be checking my email often for a reply. I'm to tired to spell check this so please forgive any errors.
