Opening duplicate reports will not lead to a resolution of you issue any faster than opening one report will.

Mr. Balazs,

I hadn't realized that I opened duplicate reports. I appologize for that and taking your time away from fixing my bug report to let me know that filing duplicate bug reports will not get them fixed quicker. I had noticed that the Xdiagnose sent two reports at once or it would kick back amessage saying it couldn't connect to server. Since I'm new to Ubuntu it isn't stressed enough how imparative it is to know this type of OS more at the ad page for it these kind of mistakes I'm sure you get a lot of and can add to your frustration. I know I'm frustrated as well after spending day after day following one recomendation after the other only to still have the exact same problem with my laptop.

I know I would send those Xdiagnose when ever I would make a change to the driver to help you guys figure out what might be going on ans resolve this issue to make Ubuntu better for people that are comeing every day. If a few extra bug reports happen to make there way that didn't need be to you it's not near as bad as what's going on with our end, trying to figure out why we keep having the same problem and why Ubuntu isn't as great as they told me it was. honeslty though I want to tell people how great it is. I want to tell people that they should get it and get rid of the over priced commercialized OS's that they have but as of right now I can't do that.

In short please forgive my dual boot reports Mr. Balazs, I'm new to Ubuntu, frustrated and exhausted over trying to resolve my issue myself.

I'm hopeing that your day will be a great day full of command writing revolations to make Ubuntu the best OS in the world.

Robert, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains, could you please run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p linux REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

If reproducible, could you please provide the information following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend ?

If reproducible, could you also please test the latest upstream kernel available (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested. For example:
kernel-fixed-upstream-v3.3.13-rc7

This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

As well, please remove the tag:
needs-upstream-testing

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. Thank you for your understanding.
