This parameter 'drm.vblankoffdelay=1' does not exist in your kernel and so specifying it causes the DRM driver not to load. Strongly suggests a miscompilation of the kerne or a failure to build the right initramfs, since that parameter has existed since 2.6.38 and is still present in 3.10.
