Actually, there should be no need to ask for the ubuntu-bug report to users that are merely confirming a bug for which everything is already known and everyone is merely waiting for Gianluca Anzolin's patches to land on the stable update kernel channels.

BTW, ubuntu-bug is quite buggy itself. I guess this is why many people do not use it. Having ubuntu-bug fixed would be the best incentive to push people to use it. No one likes using a tool that evidently has issues and at the same time asks you for the root password.
