Can you give v3.4[0] a try(To confirm the webcam works) Then give v3.5-rc2[1] a try. I'd like to find the first kernel version that causes the regression. I can then perform a kernel bisect.

I believe I have a Logitech external cam somewhere. I'll see if I can find it, so I can test here.
