Comment 15 for bug 131626

I am not completely new to Ubuntu but still do not know a lot of the "how to's" but am having the same issue with my Toshiba laptop going to sleep and not waking back up. I am running version 8.10 with kernel 2.6.27. This is the first issue like this. I have not had a single problem with any of the releases I have used since I installed fiesty for my first experience with linux. I do have to hold the power button down and turn the laptop off before I can regain use. The screen is black and nothing will wake it up. I do not even see any disk activity when I try and wake it up.
