Confirming, on an Acer TravelMate 4502WLMi

Besides, when I unplug the power line, the laptop loses power immediately (doesn't switch to battery)! When doing the same in Windows, everything is OK.

Output of "sudo acpi -V":

Thermal 1: ok, 54.0 degrees C

(nothing about battery)
