Comment 25 for bug 109482

I have the same issue on a ADM64 laptop Presarion V5000, I am going to try above suggested setting. I hope this fix it. I waited patiently on this new version of Ubuntu and I wipe off my dual partion to have only one OS "Ubuntu" however I have been having these issues and it frustrates me as I really need to have this machine as my working primary machine. If the issue does not get solve by changing the settings ...I guess I will attached the logs :)
