"Just so everyone understands what's going on. The problem is fixed. Our kernel now supports this. However, it seems that certain CD image types (desktop that I know of) doesn't contain the jmicron driver. I've already filed a bug on this and marked it for ubuntu-6.10 release milestone. Hopefully when it gets fixed, it will start showing up in the daily's."

So its only a matter of time now. At least we know it will definitely be fixed by the end of the month.
