I have seen this bug in Debian as well so I would suggest that any help will be welcome. For the research I have been doing it seems to be a error in not having the proper eeprom code string read to the kernel. So I would assume that any kernel would have that error, but since this card is old it might not get the attention it needs. Since I do not know much about the eeprom codes or how they are read I am really at a loose for what is needed from me but will be willing to help as well.
