Just to be clear: Unless you have something like

0000:02:00.1 0805: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822 SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro Host Adapter (rev 13)

then the driver in 2.6.17 will do nothing for you. The "0805" bit is important.
