hi,

I downloaded and burned Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Herd 4 running on a 2.6.20-8-generic kernel.

In the output of dmesg I could see a report of an abnormal status 0x7F on port 0xFD07 (see attachment and search for "ATA").

And my SATA HDD is still not detected.
