Comment 11 for bug 2022826

Just tried the OEM kernel. I tapped the Shift key on rebooting. It gave 3 options on booting: Ubuntu, Advanced options for Ubuntu, UEFI Firmware Settings. I chose Ubuntu. It showed 6.01 and then came up with the standard login scree, On logging in (with my phone's Hotspot switched off; since these issues started I have it switched on as it's the only way I can get the computer connected to the internet), it now showed that Wired is Off whereas previously there was nothing about Wired. I've tried both Wired and Wi-Fi but both hang on trying to connect.
