Comment 36 for bug 1354975

I put up a test build of linux-firmware for vivid which contains a new firmware version which I've been told helps in at least some cases. I'd appreciate feedback from anyone running vivid who would like to give it a try.

Note that this will not help for any previous releases as the firmware which has been updated will not be used by the 14.04 or 14.10 kernels.
