Comment 33 for bug 1085169

I tried running libreoffice from a terminal in case any diagnostics appeared when it failed. Calc still failed after about ten minutes of operation but nothing appeared in the terminal when it failed.

I do get the following messages on libreoffice startup but I guess these are not related to the problem here:

javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Please ensure that a JVM and the package libreoffice-java-common is installed.
If it is already installed then try removing ~/.libreoffice/3/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml
