Affected too. IMHO it is a serious issue. Until there is a solution or workaround, my kwallet content is effectively gone.
I had kwalletmanager installed and working in Ubuntu 9.10
After upgrade, it stopped working. I used it recently before upgrade making it very likely that it was related to a change caused by 10.04.
Sympthoms are similar as mine. ps aux | grep kwall lists
kwalletmanager
kdeinit4: kwalletd [kdeinit]
But there is no window or tray icon appearing.
Killing kwalletmanager and starting it again from the shell result in this message:
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)
Will try to move my .kde/share/apps/kwallet/main.kwl to some other machine if the need to access something becomes urgent.
