I don't think that KNetworkManager is detecting the cipher settings properly for WPA enterprise -- I had to manually set PEAP as the key type and untick the CCMP ciphers (the connection here only uses TKIP).
The old KDE3 version of KNetworkManager correctly detected these settings.
