Dell Mini 9 - Developer's daily Desktop i386 (as of Sunday, October 4, 2009 at about 6:00PM MST (UTC-7). Install from USB key, manual partition (Installation complete, successfully). Boot and login successful. Wireless not active.
Hardware Drivers offered - Proprietary bc STA driver is the only one offered. When attempted to activate, it did not activate.
NOTE: This same driver activated and worked in Jaunty on the same machine under the same conditions of installation. If this can't be corrected, then it is a show stopper for my installing Ubuntu 9.10.
