Not sure.
4) What you expected to happen
Boot into live CD. Enable desktop effects to show off to friends.
5) What happened instead
Boot into live CD. Can't enable desktop effects. Opening "Hardware drivers" shows no proprietary drivers in use. Opening "Screens and Graphics" shows no screen selected an the graphics card tab is completely blank.
Is desktop effects a full install only thing now?
