no, I do not expect Inkscape to manipulate my window manager's
workspaces. Since I have never encountered a glib critical error
when running firefox (or any other application), I didn't think to
attribute this issue to firefox.

I didn't even realize (until much later) that Help items would
appear in a browser window as opposed to an Inkscape window, and I
certainly have no understanding of the Inkscape extension system.
Perhaps stating which application actually generated the warning
(instead of the cryptic "the script executed") would have made me
realize that this is not an Inkscape bug.
