I checked Ubuntu 23.10 (mantic) and hid-logitech-hidpp is included in the initramfs there:
$ lsinitramfs /boot/initrd.img-6.5.0-10-generic | grep hidpp usr/lib/modules/6.5.0-10-generic/kernel/drivers/hid/hid-logitech-hidpp.ko.zst $ find /lib/modules/6.5.0-10-generic/ -iname '*hidpp*' /lib/modules/6.5.0-10-generic/kernel/drivers/hid/hid-logitech-hidpp.ko.zst
Do you still experience issues typing the password in to graphical mode?
