I'm sorry, but I have serious problems to follow these instructions.
I've tried to install hplip-3.10.9 on my Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit to use my new HP Deskjet 1050 without success.

Can you repeat with precision the correct sequence to install it correctly?

(at the moment... I try to open Xsane but it replies: It's not possible open the device 'hpaio:/usb/Deskjet_1050_J410_series?serial=CN08H2J48X05HW': device is busy. )
