Sorry for the late reply.
The command 'lpadmin -p PSC-750 -E -P PSC-750.ppd' dooes the following:
- Replacing the queue's PPD with the given PPD ('-P <ppd>') - Enabling the queue and making it accepting jobs ('-E')
Nothing else is done by this command.
It is possible that some recent updates can have fixed it. There were especially manu uploads of the CUPS package.
As your printer works again I am closing this bug report.
